Recovery Is More Than
Getting Sober.
You Have to Learn
How to Live.

For nearly three decades, Douglas D. Dolan has lived the work he speaks about. As a recovery keynote speaker and leader, he draws from recovery, loss, faith, leadership, and the ongoing work of rebuilding to bring audiences an honest conversation about what lasting change actually requires—and how we build a life that holds when life gets hard.

SIGNATURE KEYNOTE

WE TEACH THEM HOW TO LIVE.

Recovery · Transformation · Purpose

THE PERSON YOU LOVE IS STRUGGLING. NOW WHAT?

Families · Addiction · Boundaries · Accountability

YOU CAN’T OUTSUCCEED AN UNHEALTHY LIFE.

Leadership · Business · High Performance · Personal Responsibility

Getting sober can save a life. But it doesn’t automatically teach someone how to live one. Drawing from his own recovery and years of leadership in treatment, Doug explores the deeper work of lasting change—identity, responsibility, relationships, purpose, and the everyday choices that turn survival into a life worth living.

When someone you love is struggling, the line between helping and rescuing can become painfully unclear. Doug helps families understand what they can influence, what they cannot control, and how boundaries, honesty, and accountability can create the conditions for healthier choices—without abandoning the person they love.

Achievement can hide a life that isn’t working. Drawing from recovery and leadership, Doug challenges audiences to examine the patterns, identity, integrity, relationships, and personal practices beneath outward success—and consider what it takes to build a life that works from the inside out.
